Q. Does your website bring in the leads that your designer said it would?

Q. Does it get ranked well on the correct pages of the major search engines?

These days on-line promotion is more important than ever so if you are letting your website go stagnate then you may get left behind. A lovely thing about websites is that you can see exactly how many people look at your site, how many pages they viewed, how long they stayed on your website and most importantly, if they took action. No other form of marketing can monitor traffic like a website can - so if your website isn’t working well you should be doing something about it.


How a Website Should be Built

Initially a clear brief should be written stating what the objectives are for the site - is it just a brochure on the internet, is it to encourage people to contact you or make an appointment, or does it sell products on-line.

Look at competitor websites to ensure that yours will look and perform better, most internet surfers will look at several websites before making a decision.

Before launching your website, show it to people you trust and even some potential customers and ask for their opinions.

Ensure the website is properly optimised for search engine ranking and continue to get an expert to optimise the site on a regular basis. Check Google Analytics at least monthly to see how your site is performing.
