A company’s logo is it’s signature, it should give a feel for the sort of business it represents - is the company modern or traditional, does it deal in high tech products or sell to a particular market? All this information should be considered before the design wok begins.
Another important point is that the logo should look better and more relevant than the immediate competition. A logo is a very powerful communication tool, it can make a company look larger than it is and can convey professionalism and competence.
A logo should also work in black and white as well as colour and look just as good when it is small on a business card or on a 64-sheet poster or a shop fascia.
These are just some of the things that need to be considered when designing a logo, I will be writing more about logos on my blog, plus the difference between corporate identity and brand identity.
Shown here are just some of the logos we have designed, if you wish to discuss logo design please click here or phone Alan Foster on 01424 814111.
