Crowhurst Park: Little Finland

A campaign for a new housing development
A development of exclusive Scandinavian Log Homes within Crowhurst Park Holiday Village

The Brief
The first show home is due to be built in June 2011 so a database of interested clients was needed so early sales could be made.

The Solution

  • A marketing plan was produced
  • A series of full page ads were placed in carefully selected quality magazines
  • PR releases were published
  • A high quality brochure was produced together with updatable inserts
  • An on-line campaign was launched

A database of over 300 people who are very interested in the development has been built, some of whom have already paid deposits, ensuring the successful launch of the development.

Booker and Best Ltd - case study 1

Direct Mail Campaign
A large building company based in Hastings and Ashford.

The Brief
To gain more domestic clients throughout Hastings and the surrounding areas.

The Solution
A direct mail campaign was produced and delivered to selected postcode areas.
The leaflet detailed all of the services provided.

The Result
Over one hundred new jobs were requested by homeowners as a result of the campaign. The leaflet has a high retention value and new projects are still coming in several months after the initial campaign was launched. As the leaflets were so successful they have now been distributed around the Ashford area.

Booker and Best Ltd - case study 2

Website Design and SEO

The Brief
To design and produce a new website that would cross sell all the companies services to the domestic market. Their existing website was only getting approximately 50 visits per month.

The Solution
Research showed that the majority of new and existing customers only knew Booker and Best for one or two services so the new website needed to cross sell the whole range of services. The website carried calls to action on each page and was quick and easy to navigate around. An ongoing SEO campaign is taking place to ensure the website is properly ranked in the search engines for the right target markets.

The Result
In the first month over 800 new visitors (a 16 fold increase from the old website) visited the website and the numbers are increasing every month. More importantly these visitors are potential clients, not just browsers.

Windmill Interiors

Corporate Identity and launch campaign
A new retail store selling bathrooms, kitchens and fitted furniture

The Brief
A new store was opening in Hastings and the complete promotional package was needed from the company name, logo design, stationery, website, advertising, point of sale and launch campaign.

The Solution
A marketing plan was produced with the initiatives listed together with a timing plan and budget.
Initially, the identity was developed which included:

  • Logo, typefaces and colour palette
  • Stationery
  • Shop fascia and point of sale

Then the pre-launch promotional campaign was launched which consisted of:

  • Press advertising in selected media
  • PR releases
  • Direct mail leaflet mailed to geographical areas within a 15-mile radius of the store
  • Website production and ongoing search engine optimisation


The Result
Within the first month of opening the company had over £200,000 of confirmed orders, which has exceeded their budget plans.

Ashridge Court Care Home

A residential care home in East Sussex

The Brief
Due to the nature of the business there were times when empty rooms became available and needed to be filled as soon as possible. Awareness of the business needed to be raised so when people needed the services of a residential home they would think of Ashridge Court first. The owners wanted to develop the business to enable them to sell it and retire.

The Solution
An ongoing campaign needed to be developed which would give a steady stream of enquiries from the right type of people who would use the service.
We knew that once a prospective client had visited the home there was on average a 3 out of 4 chance they would stay because the care home was without doubt the best in the area. In a lot of cases relatives would visit rather than the actual client.

  • Consequently we produced a high quality brochure pack that could be taken away and sent out in response to advertising enquiries
  • A series of carefully targeted direct mail campaigns were used, which promoted different services such as respite care and the homes facilities
  • Advertising was also used to encouraging people to visit the home
  • An ongoing SEO campaign was used to promote the website


The Result
Because the marketing activity was ongoing, there was a steady stream of good quality enquiries resulting in an excellent, stable business, which helped the owners to sell the company in September 2010.
